In the year 2032, the human is about to go extinct and nobody cares. Whispers of "Zero Day", a mathematical calculation as to the exact time of this extinction go ignored as a group of mankind's brightest take to the stars in search of a new planet. Unfortunately, the crew has given into nihilism. Further complicating things, the ship's researcher, Park Mi-Yeon, cannot ignore any further the connection her mysterious imprisonment in a basement 4 years ago has with the fate of all Mankind!
